One day, Castiel makes an announcement.

Meg: You’re what?

Cas: Demisexual. I saw the word in a pamphlet concerning human sexuality.

Meg: (trying not to laugh) And what exactly do you think it means?

Cas: Based on the word structure, I assume it means one who is sexually attracted to demons. And since I… have those feelings toward you, I consider it an apt description.

Meg: (really laughing now) That’s not what that word means, Clarence. It means someone who only wants to fuck people they already like. Like, they’re attracted to someone once they see who they really are.

Cas: It does? Oh. (He looks down, then slowly places his hand on top of Meg’s.) Then, I believe it still applies.

I wrote this quote down for one reason/head canon I brought up in a previous post —

Dean taking over Chuck’s place! Dean as G*d in Supernatural. Why was this universe different? Because of Dean. Why was this Dean different? Because he can take over Chuck’s place.

Look at what Castiel describes Dean as. As loving and caring. Yes, he’s made good and bad choices but it was all out of Love. This is the kind of Love that G*d should have had. Always there. The same way Jack said G*d is in everything and Adam said he should be.

Also, the poetry of G*d!Dean and Boy King!Sam? Along with an Angel With Free Will!Castiel? *chef’s kiss*

And it fits with Dean being Michael’s true vessel, as Sam is Lucifer’s true vessel and was able to take over hell.

Adding that I’ve also seen some people speculating about Dean taking over as Death (with his connection to the two past Deaths, though he also had a connection to the Darkness and Chuck). And I’m good with that too. Between Jack and Dean, one can take over G*d and one over Death! Imagine a power family!

Crowley being the last one alive at the end of season 10 and right before the end credits you just see him holding a contract and he looks at the camera and says “Looks like your 10 years are up, love. Be sure to leave your feelings behind for the next show.”
and then he disappears and as the screen fades to black all you hear is barking and howling getting louder until one final growl is heard and then silence.
